After his team suffered third loss this season, Friedel suggested that the problem with the players and it’s not just about his team, but with almost all the teams in the Major league Soccer is that when there is a defeat, it doesn’t upset the payers as much as it should and that’s because there is no price that they have to pay for the defeats.

Hugo Lloris is a queer character as he always seems to hide in the background for both club and country when the discussion of the most important player comes up. However, the French captain has been one of the most consistent in his position for the past decade.

He began his career in France with OGC Nice before moving to Olympique Lyon where he made his name as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe. His move to Tottenham in 2012 was heralded as a coup by many in England as AC Milan and Inter Milan had been touted as a possible destination for the player.

New England Revolution head coach Brad Friedel has confirmed that the club have held talks with youngster Justin Rennicks over his future at the club but that is as much as the gaffer is prepared to discuss with the media.

The MLS soccer outfit’s officials and board members met with the wonderkid over the weekend to discuss the next step in his burgeoning career.

The former Tottenham and Blackburn goalkeeper took over as the manager of New England back in November. He has been able to witness the Reds possessing a record of 7-4-6. As a result, the Revolution find themselves in a comfortable player spot in the Eastern Conference and they have not been troubled much. The stability is quite apparent even on the training ground, but there is a danger of this stability turning into a complacency.

Friedel is aware of the problem and he says that the squad should not let complacency creep in at any point in the campaign.Even though New England’s home form has been much better compared to their away results,Friedel says that the team are not happy at dropping points on the road or at home. A remarkable 21 out of the 28 points picked up my New England so far in the campaign have been at home. The club has struggled when it comes to away games and this will be an area of concern for the manager. However, this poor away form is not a feature of Friedel’s tenure at the club as it has been in place for the last couple of seasons.

He believes that the system is working well and that whoever is named as the new coach of the senior side will have a lot of talented young players to choose from.

Brad Friedel Wants New England To Close Out Games Better

New England Revolution suffered a major disappointment after letting slip a two-goal lead against Vancouver Whitecaps. Both teams had in decent form coming into the game but it was Brad Friedel’s team that had the best start. The visitors raced to a 2-0 lead just after half-time and it seemed that they would be heading for the first away victory in three matches. However, it was not to be the case with Vancouver staging an impressive comeback. The game finished as a 3-3 draw and it piled up on the disappointment for New England.

Friedel is in his first job as the manager at a club. The former Tottenham and Blackburn goalkeeper has had an indifferent start to his first managerial job, as New England have been unable to string together a consistent set of results. This is down to a weak defence.
