Friedel proud of achievement

The New England Revolution head coach Brad Friedel is proud of what his team has achieved so far this season and said that he wants to see his players progressed even further. Brad Friedel is only in his first season at the head of the club and has already made a good impression on different pundits.

He said that he is happy to have started his managerial career with the New England Revolution and that he is looking for more successes. He said that he has been preparing himself for his coaching role since 2011 while he was still playing in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspurs.
The former US national goalkeeper said that he has had the chance to work under the greatest minds in world football such as Graeme Souness, Mark Hughes, and Martin O’Neill. He said that he has learned a lot from these managers and it is this experience that is helping him in his career with the New England Revolution.

He said that it was not an easy task to take charge of the club for the first time as there is always demand on you and that you need to work under pressure. Brad Friedel said that he has worked very hard on the training ground to help his players understand his tactics and make sure that they know what is expected of them.

Brad Friedel said that his players need to learn to become more urgent on the ball. He said that football has evolved a lot and that you need to play at a higher tempo and press higher up the pitch. He said that he wants his players to play with more energy as well as more determination. He believes that his team can still progress and become better.
