The Premier League has again been dominated by Liverpool and Manchester City with their players dominating the Team of the Year selections as the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Mo Salah feature. Heung-min Son was the only player outside the top two to make the cut having scored regularly for Tottenham as they push for a top four spot. Once again, though, the season has been dominated by City and Liverpool, who continue to set the benchmark in the top flight.

Virgil van Dijk, who was absent for much of last season, is picked alongside Andy Robertson, who gets the nod ahead of Joao Cancelo. Thiago makes up the midfield with Mo Salah, the Premier League's top scorer, in attack. The Egyptian, particularly in the first-half of the season has been sensational for the Reds.
Son partners him in attack having outscored teammate Harry Kane - scoring 19 times to the Englishman's 13. Brad Friedel agreed with seven of Mills' picks. Walker was hailed as the best right-back in the world by the former Tottenham and Aston Villa shotstopper.
